Therapy Animals of San Antonio (TASA) is celebrating 35 years of service in the greater San Antonio area. Our mission is "Bringing People and Animals Together for Healing." Our therapy animal teams include dogs, cats, and even rabbits.
We offer a variety of programs including visits to hospitals care facilities, adult and children's courts, Krier Juvenile Detention Center, and the Children's Bereavement Center. We also support literacy through our Story Tails program and attend de-stressors during local college exams.
Additionally, our CARE (Crisis Animal Response) program deploys therapy animal teams with specialized training across Texas in times of crisis. These teams also support area schools during critical incidents such as the death of a student or teacher.
Does your dog (or cat/rabbit) have what it takes to become a therapy animal?
