The mission of the Greller Gallery is to engage the public with art that highlights the beauty of our planet and its inhabitants. To meet these goals, we host up to four exhibitions a year along with a wide range of events, including artist talks, workshops, and special pop up shows around town. Our events are designed to bring people together and foster a sense of community as well as support for local non-profits. We believe that art has the power to inspire, to challenge, and to transform, and we are committed to bringing the best and most innovative art to our community.
We strive to showcase the best and most diverse art from both established and emerging artists. We feature a wide range of styles and mediums from classical paintings to photography to contemporary installations. Our goal is to provide a platform for artists to share their unique perspectives and for art lovers to discover new and exciting pieces.
Over the years, we have had the honor to work with many incredible and diverse artists from San Antonio including Danté Fenolio, MoMo and Pompa Brown, Grant Manier (Houston), Heather Gauthier, Yvette Shadrock, Carla Veliz, SAY Si Art Students, Paige Holland, Antonia Richardson, John Bramblitt (Houston), Allison Gregory, Louis Vega Trevino, Patti Schermerhorn, Elizabeth Elequin, Albert Gonzales, Juan de dios Mora, Elias Vieyra and many others.
Each of our exhibitions are designed to challenge and inspire, and engage audiences through thought-provoking art as well as offer support and awareness for various non-profits in the community.
Since June 2014, the Greller Gallery has raised thousands of dollars via its exhibitions for various animal and environmental non-profits. Beneficiaries of this support include the Center for Conservation & Research at San Antonio Zoo, Bat Conservation International, Nature Conservancy Group, Orangutan Foundation International, Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, San Antonio River Foundation, Wayward Whiskers Cat Rescue, SNIPSA, Guide Dogs of Texas, San Antonio Humane Society, Therapy Animals of San Antonio, Train a Dog; Save a Warrior, Stray Cat Adoption of Texas, Animal Defense League and more.
The Greller Gallery is located inside San Antonio Veterinary Specialists (SAVS) - a referral veterinary clinic specializing in the fields of oncology, ophthalmology and surgery. Clinic and Gallery owners, Dr. Andrew and Faryl Greller, have always believed in the power of art combined with compassionate veterinary care to help create an ambiance that promotes both healing and hope. With a teamwork approach, the Greller’s aim to create this unique experience while visiting SAVS. Faryl curates beautiful art shows for clients to enjoy and find refuge, while Andrew runs his ophthalmology practice, helping patients live happy and healthy lives with minimal discomfort and excellent vision.
